Ado is an Italian Restaurant on Main Street in Venice, California. I originally thought that it was under the same ownership of Via Veneto, one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Monica. I found out last Saturday that one of the owners was a manager at Via Veneto and that is how they are related. It definitely has the same ambiance as Via Veneto and the food is just as delicious.
Ado is located in an old house with simple decor. There is one candlestick on each table and it has a cozy, romantic vibe.
Everything we had was delicious and the service was outstanding! We start with the watercress salad and the prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella pictured below. Yummers!
| My boyfriend had the pasta special which was prosciutto fettuccine in a vodka sauce and it was really good too. Another dish at our table was a filet mignon that could rival any steakhouse. |
We finished the night off with a mousse trio of chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate mousse. It was AMAZING! This is definitely a new favorite of mine and I can't wait to go back and try something new. Totally worth the 3 pounds I most likely gained :) |
