Pin it! Some of My Favorite Pins...

It has been a long month week!  I thought that a random mishmash of pretty pictures from Pinterest would be the perfect way to start the weekend.  Enjoy!

I want these Matouk shams for my bedroom and I think am going to order them from Oodles of Gifts !

Love this room!

I want to frame some Hermes scarfs and hang them on my wall!  Art is so expensive, you might as well have something that you can wear too!

Boxwoods and Lanterns = Love

I love these chairs.  We have this Quadrille fabric on an ottoman in our living room.

This valance might work in my bathroom.

A perfect little house with boxwoods!

I want a blue and white wine bucket!  And the dog, and the dress, and the orchids in the blue and white pot!

Have a great weekend!

Travel Tuesday - Babington House

Babington House is located about three hours outside of London in the English countryside of Somerset.  I love the English countryside!  OK, I have only been there once...in high school...but I remember being entranced with its untouched splendor.  Babington House looks like the perfect place for a cozy getaway!  Take a look...

Soho House West Hollywood Part 2

We had a great time at the birthday party at Soho House on Saturday.  I was not able to take any pictures but I wanted to show your more pictures from their website because the space is just amazing. Waldo Fernandez was the designer for Soho House in West Hollywood.  He did a great job giving it a traditional, old school, club vibe while also being fresh and young.  Take a peek...

Soho House West Hollywood

I love me some Soho House in Weho!  My favorite part is the beautiful entrance and dining under the olive trees.  We will be there this weekend for a birthday party on Saturday.  I will report back next week and hopefully be able to snap a few pictures while I am there...pictures are not allowed due to the large amount of celebrity members.  Here are some pics from their website in the meantime...

Hope you have a great weekend!!!

Fun Tip of The Day!

A shade for a sconce or a chandelier shade has a clip-on fitter in the inside that hugs onto the light bulb in order to secure the shade to the light fixture.  Can you see the clip-on fitter showing through the shade above?  When the light is turned on it shows a shadow of two circles.

Now you see it, now you don't!  In the above picture, the clip-on fitter does not show.

Here is another angle with the clip-on fitter showing.  See it now?

And another picture without a shadow...so pretty!

My super fun tip of the day is to use frosted light bulbs!  When you use clear light bulbs(which are the easiest to find) you can see the inside of the shade showing through, but frosted light bulbs wont let the clip-on fitter show!

Just in case you are wondering, this is the Elkins Sconce from Circa Lighting.  I love all of their lighting!

Travel Tuesday - Dinner with Jennifer Aniston at Sunset Tower

We went to dinner at Sunset Tower on Saturday.  We were in good company with fellow diners, Jennifer Aniston, Tobey Maquire and Giada DeLaurentiis.

Dmitri Dmitrov(pictured above) is the maĆ®tre d’ of Sunset Tower Bar.  He whisks you to your table and makes you feel like a celebrity.  After dinner he escorts you out of the dining area,  telling you in his Eastern European accent that he hopes to see you soon, and you feel like you have know him for years.  Dmitri also makes you feel as though you were sitting at Jennifer Aniston's table(not just eyeing her out of the corner of your eye while pretending to be too cool to care)

I love the dimly lit Hollywood feel of the room.  The wood paneling makes it feel so cozy and gives it a little bit of an East Coast vibe.

The food was fantastic!  There are pigs in a blanket on the menu..enough said...and yes we ordered them.

Here are some pictures of the Tower Terrace and hotel rooms.
