Last Minute Christmas Decor

I mentioned how bow crazy I was the other day...well my kitchen needed a little more Christmas cheer so I tied some ribbon around my hurricanes and it did the trick!

 

I layered red and white striped ribbon over green burlap ribbon and tied it into a big bow.  It really brought a lot of color in the room and only took a minute.

Christmas Shopping, Work, Christmas Party - Repeat

 

This is how my days/weeks are feeling lately but I guess I can't complain...it does run a girl down though!

Nobu Malibu - New Oceanfront Location

We went to the Nobu in Malibu over the weekend and the new location is breathtaking.  The waves are literally crashing beneath you.  Living in LA, you would think that we have our fair share of beachfront restaurants but that is actually not the case.  There are only a few quality restaurants with a great ocean view and I am so excited that Nobu has just been added to the list!

Tacos might sound like an odd choice at a Sushi restaurant but they are delicious! 

 

The modern architecture looks beautiful over the water and I love the Restoration Hardware sofas and lounge chairs.

 

Their famous yellowtail sashimi with jalapenos.

 We were lucky enough to sit outside with the fireplace roaring, twinkle lights in the tree and the moon reflecting on the water...heaven!  I will have to say...it is a far drive and super expensive but well worth it for a special ocassion.  I can't wait to go back in the summer and watch the sunset(and next time I will Uber out there so that I can indulge in a few more martinis)!

The Christmas Bow

 

I have always been obsessed with ribbon and I love a good bow!  This year I have been going bow crazy around the home and hanging Christmas bows everywhere.  Here are a few pictures.

 

 

 

Last year I couldn't get into the Christmas spirit right away, if you remember ftom this post here...but this year I am having fun decorating and have already gone through a carton of eggnog while putting up the tree:)

P.S.  The eggnog was coconut milk eggnog and I highly recommend....just as good...well almost!

 

 

 

Travel Tuesday - Amangiri

Get ready to be blown away.  The Amangiri Resort in the Canyon Mountains of Utah looks amazing!
Per their website Amangiri means ‘peaceful mountain’ and is located in Canyon Point, Southern Utah, close to the border with Arizona. I am dying to go here for a spa weekend!
